Winged guests arrive in Majuli :

Thousands of migratory birds from other parts of the country and abroad have started migrating to the wetlands of Majuli in the past few days with the onset of winters. These birds generally come from Ladakh, Tibet, Nepal, Europe, north and central Asia, Kashmir and China.

Cheating :
From 2004 Majuli is in tentative list of UNESCO for World heritage site , But till now Government of Assam and Government of India could not able to submit a proper dossier on Majuli .. Wow!!! what a story is this .... Problems problems and problems ... Some one says its his fault another says its a fault by another , what a drama is this ... Some people are there who only trying to make their glamor by speaking in this issue , and somebody is just earning profit on it... friends please leave your valuable comment...
